May the Lord truly bless you as you search to become evermore mature in your Christian faith, bearing testament in all you do, that others may come to know the liberty and power of salvation in and through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Social Outreach comprises of volunteers from our congregation who assist in meeting practical and spiritual needs of those who might not necessarily have access to them. Members of our congregation, community and local businesses donate goods towards our Food Parcel & Clothing Bank project which we distribute to those who are in need within our community. Tracts (English, Afrikaans and Xhosa), Bibles, booklets and dvds/cds from our church resource material are also included.
Collection points for donations towards our Social Outreach projects are provided at our main church entrance and reception.
Care Visitation Team
As a church that cares for the community there is often a need that arises when an individual cannot attend services or join in Christian fellowship for a particular reason. Our Care Ministry Visitation Team fufills this need and assists in any social and spiritual needs of individuals who might temporarily or permanently be housebound.
Food Parcel & Clothing Bank Project
By providing a central drop-off point, we allow our church members and those within our immediate community to regularly contribute clothing, toiletries and food towards this initiative. Items are then distributed in a controlled manner, allowing us to be effective in helping those in need and the various community projects that are identified throughout the year. Should you wish to contribute any items, please contact the church office or use the labelled wooden crates provided at the entrance of the church.
Non-perishable items that are regularly required:
- Tinned food
- Maize meal
- Tea / Coffee
- Basic Toiletries (Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, deodorant, etc.)
