Groggo Groggo is an informal settlement community in Theesecombe. It forms part of our Graceland Kibbutz Outreach Projects which we are planning to establish in 2011.
We have distributed clothing and food to this community on a regular basis through our Help the Needy Ministry. Next year we want to assist by teaching the residents how to organize their own worm farms, which will improve their skills to grow vegetables. Arts and crafts sessions will be held using material which is readily available as an income for the residents and also building fellowship.
Life skills training on inter-personal relationships and proper care of animals is also vital. Their relationship with the Lord will form the basis of the life skills training.
