Religion or the Gospel?
Becoming a Christan means denial of self and a surrender to the will, way and Word of God. Being born in a Christan home does not make you a Christan. Being born in a stable does not make you a horse. Being born in a garage does not make you a mot...

The Heart Of A Father

" For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father."
Romans 8:15

Pastoral Team at Work
Date: Nov 2012

When God calls a person into fulltime ministry, the assignment comes from above.

As St Marks enters a new phase of ministry, the Lord has assembled a “task team” to lead our people into a fuller understanding of His purpose. Our church is on the rise to carry out a Divine Assignment. Each and every church member can partner with our “task team” to accomplish great things for God. Not everyone is called to serve in a fulltime capacity, but everyone is certainly called to carry the testimony of God’s saving grace to the people we work with and meet every day of the week.

From our trustees, teachers, deacons, tea ladies and all our church departments, we have men and women who hold key positions in commerce and industry who are also on a Divine Assignment. Your success as a believer at work is a credit to our church’s influence in the community as our primary goal is to win people to Christ Jesus. However, it is important that you invite those you meet during the week to join you at St Marks on Sundays to receive the game plan for the week that lies ahead.

Our vision is to build a church community of believers who love the Lord, their family and their church. Let’s rise to the challenge. Remember, you are a partner in our Divine mission and assignment for Our Lord.

We the ministers of St Marks commit ourselves to God’s service and in support of you, our loving members......
