A Leap into Spring | ““I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed.” Malachi 3:6 . With the arrival of spring, our gardens will once again come to life with a plethora of radiant colour. Too often in our lives we experience the cold of winter which comes in the form of darkness and depression. For some the sun does not shine, the days are wearisome and burdensome. Sometimes in the midst of our winter experience we fail to realize that spring will change our dark and grey lives to something much warmer and brighter. It may seem that your personal problem is like a cloud hiding the sun from view. With spring comes new life and with the seasonal change we know that summer is soon to follow. In some way, hold onto God’s promise to sow good in your life. He has not forsaken you, neither has He forgotten you. Summer for you is around the corner. Begin to see the colourful potential that God has for you. Do not lose heart even though things seem contrary and hopeless. This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice in it and God will replace your gloom and despair with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. May your winter pass and let spring and summer give you fresh faith and renewed strength. As a church we’ve been through dark years of struggle but our God is faithful. Celebrate our 25th Anniversary with us this month and believe that as God has blessed our church, He is ready to bless you and your family. Take a leap of faith into the season of spring and you’ll be surprised with what God has in store for you.
