Digital Ministries

The message of Christianity doesn’t change. We preach a life-changing message with 2 000-year-old content that is packaged for today’s modern world. In order to reach our modern audience and “season our words with salt”, we must make use of every opportunity and avenue available to reach, teach and preach.

The digital component of contemporary ministry has an immeasurable impact. Social media, live streaming, MP3/ video sermons, daily e-mail devotions, monthly newsletters and digital enhancements to the Sunday services forms part of the new generation of ministry which is “switched on, fully charged, connected” and that’s not spiritual talk – that’s just your cellphone!

For many who are unable to attend the services each week, or for those who live outside of Port Elizabeth or even South Africa, our website and digital ministry has made the unique message of St Marks accessible, available and free.

Being active on social media gives the younger generation a sense that the church is alive. This creates awareness and affords them the opportunity of getting involved in activities and other aspects of our ministry.

Daily inspiration is a part of the Christian life. For thousands who receive our Daily Devotional, the simple, thought-provoking message has become a part of their morning routine. School assemblies, office staff and lunch-time Bible study groups use the Daily Devotional to share God’s Word and inspire many.
