Religion or the Gospel?
Becoming a Christan means denial of self and a surrender to the will, way and Word of God. Being born in a Christan home does not make you a Christan. Being born in a stable does not make you a horse. Being born in a garage does not make you a mot...

Calling Upon The Name Of The Lord
Date: 22 Sep 2014

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13

Our world has very few secrets. Every phone call, email and download can be monitored and recovered. This is not a conspiracy but a reality. We often think we can hide those secrets we have in portraying an image that is not real to the world and those around us. The truth is that God knows everything. Every thought of our hearts is open to Him; every intention and motive. When someone calls on His name, God knows if it is genuine or only a plea for help to then return to the same old way of thinking and sin. When we pray He knows where it is coming from. God will always respond and honour a true, searching heart. Those who call on Him in faith will be saved.

It is so important to be honest with God and not insult Him with manipulation and dishonesty both spiritually and physically. The world needs to be encouraged to be honest and open about their spiritual condition. We too as believers need to be honest and call on God’s name daily for wisdom and understanding in our lives.

Prayer: Lord, may I seek Your will every day and be open with You in all areas in my life.
Amen
